The Zimbabwe Women Doctors Association (ZWDA) is a professional organization committed to promoting the professional development and welfare of women doctors in Zimbabwe – from medical school through to retirement.
ZWDA aims to represent the unique interests of women doctors and provide a platform for mentorship, networking, support and communication.
ZWDA was established in 2019 and is an affiliate of the Zimbabwe Medical Association (ZIMA) and the Medical Women’s International Association (MWIA).

Ordinary Membership
Associate Membership
Student Membership
is open to all female Medical and Dental practitioners registered with the Medical and Dental Practitioners Council of Zimbabwe (MDPCZ). Ordinary members may vote and hold office.
is open to all Zimbabwean Medical and Dental practitioners who are not registered with the Medical and Dental Practitioners Council of Zimbabwe (MDPCZ) and/or are currently residing abroad. Associated Members shall have no voting rights and shall not be eligible to hold office in the ZWDA Executive Committee.
our student membership category is open to all female medical students currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) degree programme at a training institution in Zimbabwe.
